This summer every Premiership club is going to be linked with signing about twenty players and the only club really capable of signing twenty players is Man City so separating the journalistic license from the facts can be difficult. Some bookies are taking bets on where the top players end up this summer and since they are risking their money on the possible transfers a lot more faith can be put in where they think certain players will end up.

One of the most recent transfer rumours that has most of the press talking is Luka Modric to Man Utd. There is a chance he could move but it is nowhere near what the press think, he has five years remaining on his contract so it would take a huge amount to buy him, he is just 4/7 to stay with Spurs for next season and 2/1 to join Man Utd so we can say that is unlikely. Sticking with Man Utd, the most likely summer transfer could be Ashley Young to Old Trafford, Young is out of contract next summer so likely to leave for a fee this summer, United are just 1/5 to sign the England winger.

One player who is probably on his way out of Old Trafford is Dimitar Berbatov, he is down the pecking order at Man United and Michael Owen has just been handed a new contract so the Bulgarian who was the joint top scorer in the league last season my move for first team football, surprisingly Newcastle are favourites to sign him at 6/4, just ahead of Spurs who are in need of a top class striker.

Another very likely transfer this summer will be Charlie Adam leaving Blackpool, he has been linked with Man Utd and Tottenham already but Liverpool appear to be the hot favourites to sign the set piece specialist, they are just 1/3 to secure his signature ahead of Man Utd at 2/1 and Tottenham way back at 12/1.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seems reluctant to spend big money these days and he is likely to continue to invest in youngsters, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was close to joining Arsenal in January and seems certain to finally join the likes of Jack Wilshere and ! Cesc Fab regas this summer as you can back him to be an Arsenal player at just 1/10 currently.

One player who will hopefully be on his way to the Premiership is Wesley Sneijder, who is one of the best attacking midfielders in the game at the moment and if he does move then Man Utd looks the most likely option, they are in the market for top class midfielders and 2/1 to sign the Dutchman but they could have stiff competition from Man City who are 3/1 and Chelsea who are 5/1. Chelsea look more likely to sign Brazilian wonderkid Neymar who is just 4/9 to be at Stamford Bridge next season.
