Europe's brightest young stars that have shone throughout the last year will gather for this tournament that is a stepping stone to great things and often the forerunner to playing in major competitions in the future.
The pedigree of this year's tournament is exceptionally high. Two-time winners Spain are favourites at odds of 2.65 which is hardly surprising when two members of the team, Javi Martinez and Juan Mata are! World C up Winners.
Defending champions Germany, who thrashed England 4-0 in the 2009 final, failed to even qualify this time around. It proves what a tough qualifying process it is and losing 4-1 to Iceland (11.0) did not help German matters at all.
England are second favourites to win the Euro Under 21 tournament. Like Spain they have also won this trophy twice before and can call on the likes of Premier League upcoming stars such as Daniel Sturridge (left) although they will be without Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll.
Ukraine, finalists in 2006, are currently trading at 11.0 and have a squad brimming with Uefa Champions League talent and will be looking to build on the achievement from 2009 when they became European U19 Champions.

Don't rule out hosts Denmark (7.0) - Keld Bordinggaard's squad may not have played a competitive match in over two years but host nations have had a pretty good record at this tournament, with Holland victorious in 2007 and Sweden reaching the last four in 2009.
"This is a summer jam packed with football action. The season may be 'officially' over but with the European U21 Championships and then Copa America in early July keeping us entertained it will soon be just weeks until the top European leagues kick off again," says Erik Backlund, Head of Unibet Sportsbook.
Mr Backlund added, "We are really looking forward to Spain - England on Sunday night. La Furia Roja are 2.20 to win but have now gone three matches without a win so are perhaps having a mini slump of form.
"England are 3.0 to win and looked impressive in their recent 4-0 destruction of Denmark and comfortable 2-0 win ! over Nor way. Both countries have very impressive squads and it promises to be an entertaining game."
